Running is about more than a finish time..
Running is physical. But it's also confidence, mindset, resilience and learning to trust yourself.
At Rungevity, we coach all of it.
Because the goal isn't just to make you a faster runner. It's to help you become a stronger, more confident one - in it for the long run.
Why Rungevity Coaching?
Because running isn't just physical.
Of course we'll work on your training - your running, strength, recovery, pacing and race strategy. But great coaching should go further than what's written in your training plan.
At Rungevity, mindset is part of the coaching, not an afterthought. We'll set goals that go beyond finish times and PBs, build confidence from the evidence you're creating in training, work on negative self-talk and comparison, and develop practical strategies for handling setbacks, race-day nerves and the sessions that don't go to plan.
And when I say I'm invested in my athletes, I mean it.
I've stayed on the phone supporting an athlete through a six hour marathon, been awake through the night supporting Backyard Ultra athletes, celebrated finish lines from hundreds of miles away and been there when things haven't gone to plan, too.
I genuinely care about my athletes. That bit isn't marketing - it's just how I coach.
And because that level of coaching takes time, I deliberately keep my athlete roster small. I don't want to coach hundreds of runners or offer a copy-and-paste service. I want to know my athletes, notice when something changes and have the time to give each person the support they deserve.
You're never just a number at Rungevity.
You'll have regular weekly check-ins, unlimited support and a coach who actually knows you - your training, your goals, your confidence, your challenges and what life looks like outside of running.
This isn't just a training plan. It's coaching.

Hi, I'm Rach, founder and head coach of Rungevity Coaching
I'm a UESCA Certified Running Coach and Ultrarunning Coach, with a particular interest in the psychology and mindset side of running.
I'm a runner too. I've gone from a half marathon of over two hours to 1:32 and ran 3:25 in my first marathon. I am proud of those times, but they're not what make me a good coach, and I don't believe your PB's define you as a runner either.
For me, some of the biggest challenges in running have never been about whether my legs were capable. They've been about confidence, setbacks, injury, expectations and what's going on inside your head. That's a huge part of why mindset sits at the heart of Rungevity.
I also live with ME/CFS, which has taught me a lot about managing energy, listening to your body and recognising that more isn't always better. Training has to work alongside the human doing it.
That's how I coach too. I want to know more than your pace, mileage and race goals. I want to understand what gives you confidence - and what takes it away. What makes you excited to run, what you're worried about, how you speak to yourself when things go wrong and what success actually looks like for you.
I genuinely care about the people I coach. You're never just a name on my athlete list or a set of numbers on TrainingPeaks. I want to hear when things are going brilliantly, but just as importantly, I want to know when they're not. You'll never be a burden for asking a question, needing some reassurance or telling me that something isn't working. That's what I'm here for.
Because sometimes the breakthrough isn't running faster. It's trusting yourself again, getting out of the door when you didn't think you could, handling a difficult race differently, or finally recognising just how far you've come.
And when I'm not coaching or running? Life looks a little different these days. My husband Eddie and I sold our house and moved aboard our narrowboat, Mooring Glory, with our dogs Ruby and Stanley. We travel the UK canal network, so Rungevity HQ moves with us - and there's a fairly good chance I'll be writing your training plan from somewhere along the towpath.
Running has given me far more than finish times and PBs.
That's what I want Rungevity to help you discover too.
