I can honestly say that working with Rachael has completely changed the way I approach my running.
I’m now much smarter in how I train. Rather than simply pushing harder, I understand the importance of listening to my body, managing my training load and giving myself the right balance of challenge and recovery. As a result, I no longer find myself missing sessions because I’ve overloaded myself or picked up the usual niggles that used to interrupt my training.
Rachael also understands that running isn’t just physical. She works with you on the mental challenges we all face — the doubts, frustrations and those days when confidence takes a knock. Her support and approach have helped me deal with those challenges in a completely different way. I have gone from not being able to get out the door to run 30 minutes to accepting a ½ marathon entry on two weeks’ notice.
The results speak for themselves. I’m now running times that I haven’t achieved in six years, but for me, the biggest achievement isn’t the times.
Rachael has brought back my confidence and, most importantly, my enjoyment of running.
I look forward to training again, I believe in what I’m capable of, and I feel like I’m running smarter rather than simply running harder. That’s something I genuinely didn’t think I would get back.
I couldn’t recommend Rachael highly enough. She has made a huge difference to both my running and my mindset, and I’m excited to see where the journey takes me next

Last year I was really struggling with my running. I was in a bit of a rut, my confidence was really low, and I honestly didn’t know how to get myself out of it. My coach suggested I have a chat with Rachael, and that conversation ended up being exactly what I needed.
Rachael really listened and helped me see my running from a different perspective. She helped me work through some of the things that were getting in my head and, more than anything, helped me start believing in myself again.
It’s kind of crazy to look back at where I was then compared to where I am now. Since that conversation, I’ve run a marathon PB and have three more on the calendar. I definitely didn’t feel like that was possible when I was in that rut.
I’m really grateful to Rachael for taking the time to talk with me. Sometimes you just need someone to help you get out of your own head and remind you what you’re capable of. That’s exactly what she did for me.

I highly recommend Coach Rach to any runner looking for a coach who is truly invested in their success.
She is extremely thorough, attentive, and dedicated, and she takes the time to understand each runner as an individual, not just their workouts, paces, and race goals.
What really sets Rach apart is that she understands that running is as much mental as it is physical. With her, you not only get a great running coach, but also someone who understands the psychology of the sport and knows how to help you through the doubts, setbacks, pressure, and mental challenges that come with training and racing.
She genuinely cares about her runners, pays close attention to the details, and is always there when you need guidance, encouragement, or perspective.
Coach Rach brings together knowledge, dedication, and personal touch that makes her an exceptional coach.
I would highly recommend her without hesitation.

Rachael and I ran the Southampton Half Marathon last year. It was my first half marathon and, if I’m honest, I hadn’t properly trained for it! I didn’t have a specific time I wanted to achieve - I just wanted to complete it - so Rachel offered to run it with me and help with things like pacing along the way.
We started off at a steady pace and were both loving the atmosphere and the support from everyone cheering us on. I was very glad Rachael had carried some fuel for us both!
Thanks to keeping the pace sensible and reminding me to fuel along the way, I felt strong throughout the entire race. Rachael’s motivation and enthusiasm really brought out a burst of energy in the last couple of miles, and I managed to end with a proper sprint finish!
